About iCloud Features

To ensure security and repairability, and protect sensitive data, some iCloud features are disabled on university owned/managed Macs.

iCloud Drive (Including "Desktop and Documents Sync")

Beginning with macOS Sierra (10.12), the iCloud Drive feature is disabled.

For cloud file storage, please use your university-provided Google Drive account.

Please contact ITS for strategies and recommendations on remote systems access. As an alternative, place your files on your university-provided Google Drive account for access remotely.

If you need help locating a misplaced, lost or stolen Mac, please contact ITS.

If you believe your Mac has been stolen, contact University Police to file a report.
