Unwanted Edge Notifications
If you have unwanted popup notifications claiming you are infected on the Microsoft Edge browser, here is how to get rid of them!
How to remove the notifications
Open Edge and enter the following URL into the address bar: edge://settings/content/notifications
You should see various sites that are able to send notifications. If you do not recognize these site, you can click the 3 dots beside the site name. Click Block to add this site to the notification block list.
Reset all Edge settings
You may also attempt to reset the settings entirely. Copy the following URL into the address bar: edge://settings/reset
From here you’ll be able to start the reset process.
