Zoom Phones
UNCA is excited to partner with Zoom as our telephony partner. Zoom phones provides many advantages including ease of use, robust user management, flexibility, & business continuity. Zoom phone is available to all faculty & staff. The default offering is software based, referred to as softphone, which is used primarily through the Zoom App. Physical phones are available for departmental purchase in locations that require it including shared lines and locations that are managed by other personnel like student employees & on-site vendors. ITS is here to assist with selecting a phone for your current and future needs.

The Zoom app, already installed on your university laptop, will have an additional tab for Phone upon activation. Additionally, Zoom app is supported on Android and iOS platforms to be leveraged on a personal device, if so desired.
