What is it?

ITS provides support for classes in session and general classroom questions. We provide immediate support for classes in session as well as training and troubleshooting for classroom equipment. Connecting university and personal laptops with a VGA connection is supported (if your device does not support VGA you must bring your own adapter). Training on using classroom equipment and computers is available upon request.

Monday - Thursday - 8 am - 7 pm

Friday - 8 am - 5 pm

There is no cost associated with this service.

Where to get help?

For emergency and immediate support in a teaching situation please call 828-251-6445.  The IT Service Desk should be your first point of contact for technical assistance. Contact the Service Desk by sending an email to itservicedesk@unca.edu or calling 828.251.6445.  The IT Service Desk Self-Service Portal is also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Self-Service portal allows a user to request assistance from ITS using a simple web form.
