Campus Licensed Software
What is it?
UNC Asheville provides access to select software titles either free or at significant discounts. Please note that this software is for personal (home) use and should not be installed on university-owned computers. ITS does not support personal equipment or software. Please contact the ITS Service Desk if you need assistance installing software on university-owned equipment.
When is it available?
This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and scheduled outages.
Who can use it?
Faculty, Staff and Students.
How much does it cost?
Funding for this service is managed by ITS.
Where to get help?
The IT Service Desk should be your first point of contact for technical assistance. Contact the Service Desk by sending an email to itservicedesk@unca.edu or calling 828-251-6445. The IT Service Desk Self-Service Portal is also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Self-Service portal allows you to request assistance from ITS using a simple web form.
