- In the System print dialog, ensure you are viewing the "detailed" view
- Select the unlabeled options dropdown, which is usually populated with "Layout" by default
- Click "Printer Features"
- Beside "Feature Sets:" select "Finishing"
- Beside "Staple" select "Top left (stapleless)" or "Top right (stapleless)" at your preference
- Click Print to send your job to the printer
Depending on the application you are using you may have to click:
"Print using system dialog"
In the system dialog in the second section select
2."Printer Features",
then under Feature Sets select
3."General 3"
In newer versions of macOS, the printer features are not organized by "feature sets" – instead, all options are displayed in a scrollable window. No scrollbar is displayed but you may scroll your mouse over the option area to find the relevant settings.
NOTE: If smudging or poor print quality results it may be necessary to adjust paper thickness settings further to troubleshoot. Also, certain types of low weight paper (tracing paper, onion paper) may damage the Ricoh. Please contact ITS with your specific case if there is a concern.
