What is it?
ITS provides the design, configuration, maintenance and administration of our central server systems. These systems include campus wide resources shared by our client base for such functions as Domain Name Service (DNS), DHCP (IP address management), authentication/Active Directory, file storage, etc. The majority of these systems are virtualized running VMWARE.
When is it available?
Systems run 24/7 x 365 with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and scheduled outages.. Staff available during normal business hours or emergencies.
Who can use it?
Administration restricted to assigned ITS staff.
How much does it cost?
Costs for maintenance, service contracts, licensing is managed by ITS.
Where to get help?
The IT Service Desk should be your first point of contact for technical assistance. Contact the Service Desk by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 828-251-6445. The IT Service Desk Self-Service Portal is also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Self-Service portal allows you to request assistance from ITS using a simple web form.
